Pedro Pajares

Pedro has over 20 years of experience in engineering, management, and operations in the heavy industry and energy sectors, in Europe and the US markets. Pedro began his career in Spain, where he received his Degree in Technical Engineering from Universidad de Cádiz and worked for Ghenova Ingeniería as a Commercial Manager in the Naval Architecture sector.

During his 15 years in the US, he has been involved in the development and execution of renewable energy, biofuels, and recycling projects at project management and corporate operations levels. During his six-year 
tenure at Abeinsa Engineering, Pedro oversaw the construction and permitting for a solar power plant. 

Pedro joined H2B2, an electrolysis-based hydrogen production company, as CEO in June of 2022. Before that, Pedro supervised engineering activities and coordination with authorities for H2B2’s first US-based 
project, SoHyCal, as an external consultant since Q3 of 2021. The SoHyCal project remains the only green hydrogen project to reach operational status in the United States. Pedro now uses this experience in his role as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Yosemite Clean Energy.
