Zakiul (Zaki) Kabir is the Chief Technology Officer and a member of the Technical Advisory Board at Yosemite Clean Energy, LLC. Prior to joining Yosemite, he held senior executive level positions in Engineering and Operations at several venture backed and privately held companies.
Zaki brings extensive experience designing, developing and integrating various types of fuel cell systems including fuel cell ‘engines’ for medium and heavy-duty vehicle applications, small and large stationary fuel cells for residential and commercial applications. His engineering expertise include reactor design, catalysis, development of integrated fuel processors consisting of reform reactors, water gas shift reactors and desulfurizers to convert an infrastructure fuel like natural gas, propane etc. to a hydrogen-rich fuel which can then be purified to deliver pure hydrogen.
Zaki has been awarded ten patents. He graduated from the CCNY and BUET with graduate and undergraduate degrees in Chemical Engineering. He also completed the SDM Graduate Certificate Program in Systems Engineering at MIT.
